2023–24 Southern Lady Jaguars basketball team

The 2023–24 Southern Lady Jaguars basketball team represented Southern University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Jaguars, who were led by sixth-year head coach Carlos Funchess, played their home games at the F. G. Clark Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

The Lady Jaguars finished the 2022–23 season 18–15, 12–6 in SWAC play to finish in a four-way tie for second place.[1] They defeated Prairie View A&M,[2] Jackson State,[3] and Arkansas–Pine Bluff to win the SWAC tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA tournament, and their first tournament appearance since 2019.[4] They received the #16 seed in the Seattle Regional 4,[5] where they would lose to Sacred Heart in the First Four.[6]
