The 2021 USC Trojans football team represented the University of Southern California in the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They played their home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and competed as members of the South Division of the Pac-12 Conference. They were led by sixth-year head coach Clay Helton in the first two games; Helton was fired on September 13 following the team's 28–42 loss to Stanford. Associate head coach Donte Williams took over as the team's interim head coach.[1]

Notes
edit- ^ Not counting 2005, when USC originally went 12–1 but later had all 12 of its wins vacated by the NCAA for eligibility violations, thus retroactively giving them an "official" record of 0–1 that year.
- ^ The USC–California game, originally scheduled for November 13 at 12:30 p.m., was postponed on November 9 due to a COVID-19 outbreak among the Golden Bears and rescheduled for December 4.[2] On November 11, the game was officially given a kickoff time of 8:00 p.m. PST on FS1.[3]
