UFC 83

Response on the UFC talk page; also on UFC 82/84, but the response on the UFC talk page is a bit more detailed. Cheers! Gromlakh (talk) 15:43, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Only rumors I've heard are for May 24. Huerta probably won't even be back by then (he's taking some time off to finish up his last semester of college), and Ortiz/Machida is supposedly set for May 24. That's not to say that they couldn't sneak another even in there in the mean time, but I'd be surprised if they have their Mexican debut any sooner than this fall. RE: Fieldy's heritage

Hey man, Fieldy is part African American, not sure about Latin American but if I remember correctly he is both of them. Lovetoadmire (talk) 18:42, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

He's Latino. Dark Executioner (talk) 20:09, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mexico: Municipalities vs Seats

edit

Hello! I am glad you want to help with this project. We are trying to get a concensus on how we must organize some articles. Could you give us your opinion about a discussion we are having at http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Mexico/Strategy .For me the Baja´s articles are an example of what we must do for all the states. There are 2 general ideas and the discussion is mainly between Thelmadatter and me, I think we require another point of view. Your comments will be much appreciated--Judith Soto | Talk 17:59, 13 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits

edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:52, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

You can check UFC 86's page here on wiki and it was 95% accurate. I could bet money those fights will actually happen. More to be added. The Anti-Vandalism King (talk) 16:53, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: Roger Huerta

edit

Kenny Florian recently called him out in a recent MMA Junkie Article. With Sherk taking on BJ for the title, it would seem that Florian vs. Huerta is a likely summer matchup with the winner taking on Penn/Sherk for the title. Since Penn will probably win, don't expect anyone else to touch the title until he moves back up to WW. He's to good and too big for most LW's however don't get me wrong. Huerta seems like a guy who can move up to WW too. Unak78 (talk)15:25, 5 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Future fights in fight history

edit

Howdy! I have reverted your recent edits to Efrain Escudero. Since matches that are scheduled to fight in the future are not guaranteed to happen, the MMA Wikiproject has suggested that these fights should not be added to a fighter's record history (Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Mixed_martial_arts/Archive_4#WP:CRYSTAL_and_fight_records). If something were to happen to cancel the fight it would require additional work to remove these entries. You are welcome to add upcoming fights in the prose of the article, especially if the fight is notable. --TreyGeek (talk) 14:45, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don’t get it, he is from Japan and currently us citizen, the question is where is the Philippines flag coming from? --Vik.sanchez (talk) 17:40, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

From blood—he's ethnically Filipino. Dad was likely a Navy man. … — Nahum Reduta [talk|contribs] 07:12, 4 June 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nahum Reduta (talkcontribs)
