Hi, and welcome to the Countries WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of countries.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? See some model pages such as Cambodia!
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every country article in Wikipedia.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Shy1520 23:01, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
WikiProject Cities Participation
editHi, your name is on a list of active members for WikiProject Cities. We have recently revitalized the project by including an article assessment department. Presently there is a great deal of work to complete in rating/tagging all of the 1000+ article which have not been assessed or tagged with the new {{WPCities}} banner template. Further, we have made changes to {{Infobox City}} that require some formatting changes in the articles that use the template. Your assistance at this time of change would be greatly appreciated. WikiProject Snooker request
editAs a member of WikiProject Snooker, it is requested that you watchlist at least the following pages:
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Snooker - if the project members do not pay attention to changes at the project page, especially its talk page, effective collaboration will be nearly impossible and the project would eventually fail.
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Snooker/Wanted snooker bios - this is an important part of the project's to-do list.
- Snooker - our main article, frequently subject to vandalism and nonsense edits that (historically) have sometimes taken hours or even an entire day to be fixed
- Snooker season 2006/2007 - another important article
- Snooker world rankings 2006/2007 - another important article
- One or more player articles of your choice that you'd like to "adopt" as a guardian against vandalism, PoV-pushing, etc.
Keeping in touch with the rest of the team via the project pages, and keeping an occasional eye on core articles will go a long way to strengthening the project and protecting the articles. Thank you for your time and attention. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 03:04, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
