It could be stated that the content is controversial, however the same could be said for any of the listings under the Love Interests heading. This doesn't mean that it should be deleted, but should instead be marked as such and invited to be discussed on the Discussion page. Because this is a user edited encyclopedia, there is always information based entirely on speculation, or controversial information. When it's known that it is controversial, it should be marked as such, and not simply removed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Triaxx2 (talk • contribs) 03:19, 24 December 2006 (UTC).
Image:The All-American Rejects.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:The All-American Rejects.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShadowHalo 09:54, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi Jumping cheese!
Thanks a lot for the barnstars, glad you liked my userpage! I only wish wikipedia allowed flash file uploads - then I'd really make a good userpage! But nah, your page isn't that bad! Btw - did you like the talk page archive thingy? Only just recently added it --Fir0002 22:29, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the encouraging words. If you have a growing suspicion, which is obvious since the user's edit pattern and behaviors are so similar, please file a checkuser. I just don't have the time myself. A good place to start is Bruce Lee where all 4 users are extremely zealous in editing and had gotten into numberous content disputes in that particular article. One of the socks User:RaGnaRoK SepHír0tH is ban indefinitely so these new socks are without a doubt ban-evading sockpuppets and should be blocked on sight. Some other common and disrupting pattern this users and his socks do is constantly adding wikiproject: china tag to every single article, stalking my contributions and revert everything I edited, sometimes out of his usual scope (which is making hostile edits about Taiwan and Japan related articles and spreading communist propaganda) [[1]], [[2]] and lots more. If you're interested, feel free to contact me.--Certified.Gangsta 18:51, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- There is no evidence of policy violation here, so no rationale for a check other than a hunch. Certified.Gangsta has a history of filing false checkusers as shown in his contributions. Certified.Gangsta (talk · contribs) is now resorting to censoring and deleting all my comments from his talk page. Guardian Tiger 19:05, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hi there Jumping cheese. I saw this discussion just recently, and thought I'll just add my two cents. If you think I'm meddling where I shouldn't be, feel free to ignore it. =D
- In the past, User:Certified.Gangsta has frequently and routinely accused others of sockpuppetry in content disputes. At one time or another, he has alleged that two or more of myself, User:RevolverOcelotX, User:Jiang, User:Nic tan33, User:Enochlau are the same person, usually without any evidence. He also frequently uses wild accusations of nationalistic conspiracies to attack those who differ with him on content issues.
- In one instance, he successfully obtained the blocking of a likely sockpuppet of User:RevolverOcelotX, even though it was a legitimate sockpuppet was not violating policy as per WP:SOCK; in that instance, User:RevolverocelotX explained that the alternative account was created because the main account was, at the time, inaccessible, and there was no evidence to cast any doubt on that argument.
- Across a number of articles, User:Certified.Gangsta has adopted aggressive tactics which violate the spirit of policies such as WP:3RR but always remain within the limits of the formal policy, making administrative discipline difficult. However, the result of such actions is often the provocation of other editors into edit wars. In the case of those with relatively low self-discipline, such actions often provokes other editors into illegitimate activities, such as the alleged "stalking".
- He has also used discretionary conventions, such as the relaxed attitude with which user page edits are viewed, to make questionable edits which are quasi-legal, in the sense of violating the spirit of Wikipedia policies without actually violating the words as such. Evidence of such edits include a long-standing dispute, of which you are no doubt aware, with a number of editors over a blatantly racist section on the user page; blanking of his user talk page, arbitrary removal of discussions, and warning removals. Again, I reiterate that I understand that such moves are usually not viewed as subject to disciplinary action because of the leniency accorded to user pages; nonetheless, I feel that they are not conducive for productive editing.
- What's the point of this long essay? I guess that as someone who has gotten into conflict with User:Certified.Gangsta before, I feel that those involved in the present dispute should be aware of both sides of the story. --Sumple (Talk) 11:04, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
For Heaven's Sake, Taiwan is governed as Taiwan Province, Republic of China
That is true no matter what you want to think. I am just trying to state the facts. This is neutral point of view, because it is what exists. I am not fantasizing about some Taiwan republic as you and some other people may be trying to push that point of view. -Nationalist 04:58, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- In fact, it is not controversial to label Taiwan as a province. Because it legitimately and currently is. Taiwan Province does not mean that it is governed by the Communists on Mainland China. It is a province of the Republic of China which once controlled all of China. Then the ROC government retreated to Taiwan, but Taiwan is still administratively a province, whether you like it or not. The license plates in Taiwan say Taiwan Province (台灣省) (on their place of issue). Saying Taiwan Province is fine. As long as it is followed by Republic of China. -Nationalist 05:09, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
A side note... They are nolonger adding "Province" to Taiwan license plates, but rather, county of origin.
- Nationalist is getting really annoying. Would this help: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (common names) maybe?--Jerrypp772000 22:56, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Welcome back.;)
Hello.
Well, don't worry about it. We all lose our way from time to time. At least you didn't forget completely.
Moving right along, I've pretty much said my piece on Family Guy and South Park and I never got into Drawn Together. There are a couple others that I like that weren't as mainstream and didn't really last long, but they were still pretty good. Undergrads and Mission Hill kind of had subjects that were identifiable to people, while Oblongs had a lot of parallels to The Simpsons in terms of humor. But I really liked all three. Clone High was good up until about halfway through, and then the humor just kind of soured. It's hard to laugh at a show when you've got the writers and stuff all winking at you off camera, trying to tell you what the jokes are. Now some other series have come along, some I like and some I don't. I really thought I'd like The Boondocks, with it's smooth, anime-style animation, but I just couldn't get into it. It's so much of a parody of itself that honestly, I don't think the writers and producers even knew where they were going with it when all was said and done. But one show I've gotten into is 6teen. At first blush, it looks like a Barbie-style show, but then a single episode came along that changed all that. It was an episode that had the three girls (Nikki, Caitlin and Jen) all having their periods at the exact same time and the three guys (Jonesy, Jude and Wyatt) were going crazy trying to figure out what was going on with them. It was an episode that really allowed the series to break through the glass ceiling and reach the next level, instead of ending up as just a show for the tween girl crowd.
But getting back to more important matters, I'm still watching Kim Possible and waiting for the upcoming season. Although word is we might not have to wait too much longer. Allegedly, the first episode of the new season, "Ill-Suited" is supposed to air February 10th. So it should be just another month. At least, that's the word going around. Apparently, the episode is kicking off the season with Professor Dementor launching his latest scheme, while at the same time, learning that Ron is now Kim's boyfriend. Armed with this knowledge, Dementor targets Ron, figuring that if he can keep Ron under wraps, he can keep Kim off his back so his scheme can be hatched. Just how badly is Kim going to make Dementor regret this course of action? I guess we'll have to watch the episode to find out.
Anyway, that's all for now. so HOPEFULLY, the new episodes will air Feb. 10. It sounds about right because that's when the mid-season launch usually kicks off, but you never really know. I've been looking for ads on TV to confirm this, but I have yet to see one. Still, I remain vigilant and I will keep you posted if I learn anything new. Anyway, that's pretty much it. Hope to hear from you soon.
Later.

picture size
Picture sizes should be standardized.
1) User don't always know what's good for them, and they sometimes have browsers that don't support all wikipedia features in the same way.
2) If a user sets a picture size particularly large/small, it can critically throw things out of step. For example, a large picture size can lead to it overlapping the next paragraph and pushing the next picture out of line with the text that it is supposed to be accompanying.
For exaple (in the rawest form)

This is my dead neighbor ned
Y'ello.
Hey.
Well, having checked out the ads, I'm still not 100% sure what to think. Should be interesting when things hit my neck of the woods though. I have cable, but not Disney channel. Still, one channel I have is pretty good at keeping neck and neck with Disney channel, so I wouldn't be too surprised if the new season kicked off for me eventually.
While I've been waiting though, I have expanded my edits to other areas. If you have the time, you might want to check out Wikipedia's section on Ruby Gloom. Pretty much the entire Main Characters section was written by me. Anyway, hopefully, we'll get to see the new stuff soon.
Later.

Hi Jumping cheese, I changed my username because my last one was a little too close to my real last name. Plus, I think it might have been bordering a little on the obscene...which might hurt my chances of eventually getting promoted to an admin. ;) President Rhapsody 08:49, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
KP
In "All The News" when the newspaper editor does say "I don’t care if she both your principal and your mother", who is he speaking to?
perfectblue 16:43, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
OK, I don't remember that part of the episode. Would you say that it was fair to that the editor was talking to another student as opposed to a teacher? EG, it wasn't implying that the principle was the editor's mother, or that she was Barkin's mother.
I'll have to wait and see.
Hey.
Thanks for the praise on the Ruby Gloom page. I could always write more on it, but for now, the basic gist is good enough. I want to see if other people will follow my lead an add some edits of their own.
Well, I'm not sure if I'll get Kim Possible when every one else will. See, I get Family Channel, which is essentially, the Canadian version of Disney Channel. It usually has very little trouble keeping up with Disney Channel though, but I still have to wait an see. Family Channel actually shows Kim Possible a lot. Their air times are Mon.-Fri. at 7:55am, 1:13pm and 6:10pm, then Saturday and Sunday at 6:13pm (each running their own cycle of the series). Again, I'm not 100% certain that Family Channel will air the series at the same time Disney Channel will because I've still seen no ads for it. But the timing would really be sweet. Because basically, according to the weekend schedule, Family Channel will be airing Parts 1 and 2 of "So the Drama" Saturday, Feb. 3 and Sunday, Feb. 4. This means that Part 3 will air on Saturday, Feb. 10, which would make it the perfect jumping off point to start the new season on Sunday, Feb. 11. Of course, this is all theoretical. It remains to be seen whether or not this will actually happen.
Anyway, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.
Later.

Ahhhhh.
Hello.
Hmmm, well, since Disney's website keeps upgrading stuff (and the computer I'm using currently doesn't have a sound card so I wouldn't be able to hear the episode ANYWAY), I'm afraid I'll just have to bite the bullet and be patient. But it sounds like so far, so good. After all, snappy dialogue is par for the course where Kim Possible is concerned.
Anyway, that's all for now. I'll let you know when the episodes start airing here. In the meantime, hope to hear from you soon.

Hello.
Yeah, I've got friends who are big into downloading stuff. Makes you wonder if online connections will replace TV soon. Probably not, because like everything else on the web, there would be no real effective way to administrate it.
Moving right along, I've got a little update on Kim Possible in my neck of the woods. The word is out that Season 4 of Kim Possible will be airing on Family Channel starting March 19. But on the plus side of waiting the extra month, Family Channel will be putting Season 4 as part of its weekday lineup. So within the first week, we'll pretty much be caught up to Disney Channel.
Well, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello.
Well, Season 4 of Kim Possible has kicked off up here and I have to say that so far, I've got no complaints. A couple of the first episodes may have been a little weak in parts, but they still ended strong. And besides, you can't bat a thousand all the time.
So far, I have to commend Schooley and McCorkle for sticking with their game plan, at least as far as Kim and Ron are concerned. They're doing exactly what they should be doing, keeping Kim and Ron's romance low key and not focusing on it too much. Like I said before, it's really the only way to keep from turning the show too serious. Although having said that, I think they might be keeping it a little too low key. I wouldn't mind seeing them turn up the heat a LITTLE bit. But I understand they're wanting to play it safe in the early rounds. They're also portraying Kim and Ron as still going through a transitional phase, both of them still getting used to things. Ron especially, since he's being exposed to new aspects that are almost completely alien to him. So while some of his behavior may seem foolish on the surface, it has to be taken with a very coarse grain of salt. After all, he's never been a boyfriend before. So we'll have to wait and see I guess. We'll probably see more cues for affection in later episodes after Schooley and McCorkle have gotten more comfortable with the concept.
Well, that's all for now. Just thought I'd touch base. Hope to hear from you soon.

Unspecified source for Image:Cero-allages.jpeg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cero-allages.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. Thanks for uploading Image:US_News_College_Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BigDT (416) 16:27, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
