Marcel du Plessis

edit

I have put the text of the deleted article on sandbox for you to work on. Please carefully read the AfD and make sure that you address all the issues there. The main concern was that this player wasn't notable, which on Wikipedia means that there were no citable sources or media references to him. Make sure you document with reliable media references and use the footnote/reference templates at WP:CITET. When you get the article polished up, drop me a note so that I can review it. It will then have to go through a deletion review, but if you've done your homework well, I'll sponsor it there, and it probably won't have a problem. Hi Chickentacos. Please also consider reading Wikipedia:Don't create hoaxes. I have placed hoax tags on BOTH the Marcel du Plessis and Mark O'Regan (footballer) pages you have created/extended of late. Unless you can supply REAL sources (not dead/invalid links) to back up your additions, I will be nominating both for deletion under nn-bio before the end of the week. Ok, Chickentacos...what gives? I gave you specific instructions on how the process has to work, and you didn't follow it. I have speedy deleted the article as a recreation of deleted material. I specifically told you that it needs to be reviewed first and go through the DRV process. On top of that, all four of the references were inappropriate: one was another wikipedia article (which is not permitted), two links didn't work and the third had no mention of this player. I won't be retrieving any more text for you, if this is the way you're going to handle things. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 13:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've also deleted Mark O'Regan (footballer). If you perpetuate any further hoaxes, you will be blocked from editing. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 15:54, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
