Need more info
editI have checked the university's website and the state higher education website and both are not forthcoming with statistical information. The Department of Institutional Studies says they publish a booklet called "In Brief" every semester with facts. However, i can't find an online version. Is the John W. Davis listed as president and graduate of Morehouse correct? The page for John W Davis that this links to appears to be an (extremely) incorrect match. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.239.171.207 (talk) 03:33, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
spelling and source issue
editThe land on which WV State University stands belonged previously to Samuel I. Cabell--the name is misspelled in the entry. Also, the assertion that the land was originally Native American Mound Builder land is new to me--a citation for the source of this information would be welcome.
Land grant status
editThe section about the university losing, then regaining, its land grant status could use some clarification. What exactly is land grant status? Exemption from property tax? --Saforrest (talk) 13:53, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
