Federal Reserve section

Link to article & section

Do we need to work this Reuter's article entitled New York Fed pledges to offer $1 trillion a day in overnight repo loans into the Federal Reserve section? Repo loans (aka repurchase agreements) don't appear to be mentioned so far.

Do we need to work this CNBC article entitled Trump demands more Fed action in coronavirus response even after $1.5 trillion liquidity injection into the Federal Reserve section? It mentions $1.5 trillion in short-term loans. That $1.5 trillion amount is not mentioned in that section up to that date.

The Federal Reserve section stops after March 23. What happened after that?

How much money did the Fed end up spending on coronavirus bailout? Was it in the form of loans? What percent are likely to be repaid? –Novem Linguae (talk) 09:23, 30 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Pinging a couple of the original authors of this section. Maybe they can help expand this section. @Beland, Soibangla, Juxlos, and PRRfan: Thank you. –Novem Linguae (talk) 16:53, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

More concise name

edit

Any objections to renaming this to "U.S. federal government response to COVID-19"? If not, I'll probably move it in a day or two. –Novem Linguae (talk) 23:20, 4 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Did not see this before, but anyway, why? Every other article that deals with the same topic in other countries is titled the same way:
I'd say the current title is better. Love of Corey (talk) 08:17, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Operation Warp Speed

edit

Why does it feel like this Wikipedia article is attempting to hide the existence of, much less the accomplishments of, Operation Warp Speed? - I am dis big (talk) 21:11, 28 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I propose to merge COVID-19 policy of the Joe Biden administration into U.S. federal government response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I think that the content in the former article can easily be explained in the context of latter, and the fed govt article is of a reasonable size that the merging of the former will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned.
