Recording Time Period
editThere's a 'making of' set of videos posted on YouTube that were recorded by a videographer who was at the Ranch with DD throughout the entire album recording, and the last video of the set states that recording time was around 4 weeks. Is this accurate enough to include? Gwrtheyrn 15:30, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Changes need to be made
editOkay I don't know how to do this properly but someone needs to edit the DevilDriver album chronology. They released a self titled album in 2003 and this information is missing/not provided on this page. Thankyou. A wikipedia user
- The previous album was The Fury of Our Maker's Hand, and so this is reflected in the article. DevilDriver was two albums prior, and so this is not reflected in the Infobox (or any Infobox). Clearly you have not been a Wikipedia user very long. R-Tiztik 15:07, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:DDRI TLKW-CVR-lores.jpg
editImage:DDRI TLKW-CVR-lores.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
They're Brutal death metal
editThey're Brutal death metal, also groove metal, alternative metal, and normal death metal. but primordialy, they brutal death metal, their music is the most heavy that I ever listened to, and for last time, they are brutal death metal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.28.154.65 (talk) 01:15, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- You obviously have no idea what Brutal Death Metal is. Listen to Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, and Cephalic Carnage and then you'll know what Brutal Death Metal is. DevilDriver is heavy but they are far from Brutal. Snook666 —Preceding comment was added at 19:22, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
a better article
editi think i have a good idea. In order to improve the quality of this article, i think it would be good to have an "Overview" section or something like that that goes into detail about each song. Things like lyrical meanings, keys, and movements in the songs could be included and it would be helpful for anyone to read. Here's an example: "The Axe Shall Fall" is the only Devildriver song on the album/to date to use an organ sound. how about stuff like that? Heart2rokk (talk) 17:40, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- This sounds really good! If we can get someone who knows more about it that would be great. Snook666 15:23, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
