editSean Murray is NOT the stepson of Donald Bellisario. IMDB can sometimes get info wrong and this is the case for this.
- It's probably obvious by now that you're wrong, but just in case anyone is in any doubt, I'm leaving this message to dispell that. Bellisario has a history of nepotism. Murray, and two of his biological kids are in NCIS. Two of his other kids also work behind the scenes. I believe the article shows that. Sky83 (talk) 08:57, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Shouldn't the fact that his father was once the executive officer of the USS Enterprise be mentioned, at least according to IMDB? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.31.242.174 (talk) 21:39, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
As there are at least two actors by this name, ought there to be a disambiguation page advising of this fact?
Fair use rationale for Image:ProbieNCIS.jpg
editImage:ProbieNCIS.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Personal life
editIs it relevant to the "personal life" section that Sean has a history of working with family members and also has a famous sibling? He IS 100% verifiably Donald P. Bellisario's stepson. His sole biological brother, Chad W. Murray, worked on "NCIS" from seasons 1-8 (starting before Sean Murray's character was introduced) and has been a credited associate producer on NCIS: Los Angeles since season 2 of that show. His stepsister, Troian Bellisario, played Timothy McGee's sister Sarah in two episodes of NCIS and is now known as a lead actress on ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars." His stepbrother, Michael Bellisario, played Charles "Chip" Sterling on several episodes of NCIS but appears to no longer be a working actor. His stepbrother David Bellisario worked on NCIS for several years and now works on NCIS: Los Angeles. This can all be found on IMDB.
It may also be relevant that Don Bellisario was fired from NCIS in 2007 and retired from the industry, and his children Sean and Chad W. Murray and Troian and David Bellisario have continued to advance in their television careers without his assistance (Julie Watson, a producer on NCIS, left her position at the same time as her father.) The current article seems to suggest nepotism as a factor in Murray's career; multiple news reports suggest there is no love lost between Bellisario and CBS, hence being Bellisario's son would not be any advantage for Sean Murray - perhaps even a disadvantage. Here is a link relating to Bellisario's firing from NCIS and subsequent lawsuit over NCIS: Los Angeles, a spin-off he played no part in creating: [1] Sallie81 (talk) 08:41, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
I've noticed that Sean bears a striking resemblance to the popular Murray brothers; Bill Murray, Joel Murray, etc. Is there any relation or is it just a coincidence? -- Shawn Crapo 15:49, 22 May 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sec 1971 (talk • contribs)
