Move proposal - Radio Belgium
editIs there a reason this page is at Radio Belgique instead of Radio Belgium? It seems like an obvious English translation in addition to putting French and Dutch on the same level; there's no clear reason why French is currently favoured. Oreo Priest talk 17:27, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
- No, "Radio Belgium" is not a sufficient substitute in my belief. It is usually referred to in English sources as Radio Belgique (French being easier for an English palate, I guess) so I believe WP:COMMONNAME applies. I have never seen the term "Radio Belgium" used in any source material, though am happy to be corrected.Brigade Piron (talk) 00:12, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- Fair enough, I myself am not familiar with any source material. Oreo Priest talk 04:34, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- I also believe that Radio België is the name of a totally unrelated modern radio station... Brigade Piron (talk) 09:30, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
