power output
editThere are several values bouncing around for the power output. Going Critical gives 415 MWe, http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/inf84.html gives 434 MWe, the side panel says 600 MWe. does anyone know? --87.127.117.246 (talk) 15:32, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
- 2 * 300MWe (net) was the original design output, but it never ran at that rating because steel oxidation problems from hot CO2. Most of its life it ran at 2 * 217MWe (net) = 434 MWe [2 * 230 MWe gross before site usage such as cooling], but in the early years lower than that. First 2 years it ran at 2 * 212MWe (net) = 424 MWe. then various lower outputs until 1983, see IAEA PRIS[1] for the history. The Going Critical 415 MWe was probably the average 1970-1982ish. I'll look at adjusting the article to this. Rwendland (talk) 17:38, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
It's in South Gloucestershire, which is not Gloucestershire.
editSome text claims it's in Gloucestershire. It isn't, it's in the different region called South Gloucestershire. DanBCDanBC (talk) 12:47, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- All info is in the article page, no use to go to the infobox template discussion. Or the problem is the larger map ? In that case, I would suggesting talking here. --Robertiki (talk) 03:22, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
