There are differences in her reported birth year. Some say 1732, others 1731. Many sources say that her father died circa 1730. Some writers seem to settle on 1731 as his death year and her birth year, to reconcile them. Perhaps it is an issue associated also with changes in the French calendar during their lifetimes?
