Fujimoto: Fifth leader
editI've originally posted this at Talk:Miki Fujimoto, but there has been no replies. It's been proven by several sources (internet news articles and even in a DokiMiki Night summary here from the recording on March 5, and both the Chinese and Japanese Wikipedia list it as so. The stem of the problem seems to be with Iida and Yasuda: in the other Wikipedia articles they are listed as Iida being leader and Yasuda being subleader, instead of the two being co-leaders (Iida then became both the second and third leader in the English article). Should we be changing it here then? -- Tydus Arandor 23:35, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- If there is a silence for a couple more days (say, around three), then I will change it accordingly, unless of course if someone objects. -- Tydus Arandor(talk) 08:20, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
I think we should merge the Members of Morning Musume article to this (Morning Musume) article because it's not really that long to be placed in a different article. Eugh jei ♥ Kaorin 13:31, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. Though if it's going to be merged, we shouldn't add it as another section, and instead add the member's information (ONLY THE IMPORTANT THINGS WHILE IN THE GROUP) to the pertinent years involved. Shiori 23:49, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- I vote no. The Morning Musume is already long enough. If anything, the Morning Musume article should do a better job of referencing this article at the top of the History section perhaps. Either way, this article contains important information that you wouldn't want to prune and merge into the other article, but at the same time the other article should reference this one better to avoid confusion. --Poet Talk 00:06, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Current section header
edit"Current (as of June 2010)"
I don't think the above is stated correctly. If you are going to have "as of" in there, then I think it should be when the current lineup started, (as of December 2009). Another option would be to follow the format of the generations below and just put in the year the current lineup started followed by a dash (2009-). Any thoughts? B5Sharlin (talk) 14:03, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Not having heard anything, I'll change it to (as of December 2009)B5Sharlin (talk) 13:37, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- Just to reply very very late in the game. To confirm it with you and other readers of this article, I believe you're correct and the format you have changed it to is correct. For the current date, it could say (for example) "2009-present" rather than "2009-" if anything, which I see has also been done in the article. This format should stay this way. --Poet Talk 00:06, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Reina is NOT subleader
editTo whomever keeps adding Reina as subleader: Reina is not subleader. If you don't believe me, look at the official Morning Musume page. http://www.helloproject.com/morningmusume/profile.html. Sayumi is labeled リーダー (leader), Reina is NOT labeled サブリーダー (subleader). B5Sharlin (talk) 15:11, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
