Wikipedia is not a telephone directory

Per WP:NOT, I have removed all people who do not already have Wikipedia articles. A list of every Chinese Indonesian person would not be useful to readers. Listing people who do not have Wikipedia articles results in listing people without verification that they are Chinese Indonesian from reliable sources. Ground Zero | t 16:33, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Well, certainly -- per WP:LISTPEOPLE -- it would be appropriate to remove all entries that lack both: a) a wp article, and b) refs reflecting notability and that they are Chinese Indonesian.--Epeefleche (talk) 18:06, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

Change title to 'List of notable Chinese Indonesians'

The title may sound misleading, as if this article knows every single Chindos. See if this approach can be enforced. GeraldWL 09:49, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

Non-notable entries

All entries on this list must have articles or have evidence of notability from multiple independent sources per the WP:LISTPEOPLE guideline. Items not meeting these criteria should not be restored. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:22, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
