Bio needs to include Mr. Roberts seminal contribution to 3D computer graphics

edit

It is a travesty that the bio on this page does not mention Mr. Roberts seminal contribution to 3D computer graphics, a contribution so fundamental that it is still in universal use today 60 years later, a contribution its first user called "clean (and brilliant)". What is it? It is the combination of projective geometry and matrix algebra used for transformations and perspective projection by everybody in 3d computer graphics. It is described in Appendix A of his 1963 PhD thesis "Machine Perception of Three-Dimensional Solids" at https://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/1721.1/11589/33959125-MIT.pdf?sequence=2&isAllowed=y.

Please add the information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.177.138.186 (talk) 06:27, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
