Age Discrepancy
editThe anonymous Danish boy that died in 1987 was stated as being 10 years old in Richard Preston's book The Hot Zone but the CDC report reference states him as being 15. Are there any other, more definitive references? I'll leave it as "15-year-old" for now, as the CDC report is probably more reliable than Preston's fictionalized account. - I checked the original 1987 report cited by the CDC, and it confirms he was 15. Adrian J. Hunter(talk•contribs) 04:25, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Pseudonyms
editThe names Peter Cardinal and Charles Monet were pseudonyms invented by Richard Preston for his book The Hot Zone. I edited the page but think there must be some better way to say this. Kit1066 (talk) 04:30, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
That 's correct i finish this book there are pseudonyms.--112.211.197.223 (talk) 03:14, 11 February 2012 (UTC) Juergen Schoefer
Elephants
editI added the thing about elephants creating the cave. This theory is discussed in The Hot Zone.

Ancient Egyptians
editThe claim about ancient Egyptians seemed to be completely unfounded. The Atlas Obscura page’s sources are mostly broken and none of them mention the claim about ancient Egyptians besides this page which they cite. Also no form of Egypt ever stretched this far south. 64.179.181.52 (talk) 04:01, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
