I'll give this article a review. Name popped up while reading Feller's biography, got interested in him, and lo and behold he's at GAN. Wizardman 22:50, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Here are the issues I found:
- "and 1945 (the 1945 game was cancelled due to travel limitations during the United States' involvement in World War II)." that's worth a mention, but i don't know if it's worth being in the lead.
- Done
- "and was offered scholarships to play football." a scholarship, unless he was offered one in baseball too, in which case it should be made clear.
- Done
- It might be helpful to add a link to Barnstorm (sports) somewhere in the 1938 offseason.
- Done
- "leading up to the 1943" up to 1943
- Done
- "In 1943 he became the second player born outside the U.S. to hit 100 home runs, and he surpassed George Selkirk with his 109th home run in 1945." would prefer a cite for this.
- Found this but will keep looking.
- " he were 23–32" who were
- Done
- "And the possibility that Robertson was better paid than Heath. " sentence fragment. Also, this paragraph definitely needs a cite, perhaps two.
- Will look for sources.
- "when it was turn" was his turn/their turn, not sure if Heath or the Browns are meant here.
- Done
- "the National League (NL) had acquired Heath" Move NL to the previous sentence, which links National League; then NL can just be put here.
- Done
- "Braves farm system but he never " comma after system,
- Done
Guy reminds me of Albert Belle, good power but not the best person ever. Anyway, article's on hold and will pass when the issues are fixed. Wizardman 01:50, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Everything checks out now, so I'll pass the article. Wizardman 01:54, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
