Regarding this gentleman, it is my opinion that he should not be listed as among the Notable residents of the wonderful community of Hollywood Heights until he has his own article (with Reliable sources) in Wikipedia. I hope that somebody who knows about this fellow can develop such a piece so that we can list him with the other fine people who have had the good sense to make this neighborhood their home. @Samp4ngeles: It is obvious you are very invested in this one article. It may be very difficult to see experienced editors work on this article. BeenAroundAWhile left a message explaining the edit which is more than many editors will do. I typically leave an edit summary that says: Write article first to establish notability. To remain a useful encyclopedia, experienced edits delete many items. They know it can be discouraging to budding editors but it is necessary. They are not vandals. Cheers and happy editing! It's actually two articles, Hollywood Heights and Mr. Shrader, which would lead me to suspect that the editor is a WP:Single purpose account. Personally, I don't care that much as long as the info is good and valid, but others might not be so charitable. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 04:05, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

Hollywood Art Center School

Took out this reference, as the school was not in Hollywood Heights prior to the founding of Choinard or Otis:

Took out this reference, as Bertha Barker is not mentioned in the Barker Bros article and it is unclear whether she was involved with the business:

WP:NOR and "The High Tower was featured in..."

Philosophical question about WP:NOR - is reading a book (or, conceivably under WP:NOR a "reliable, published" - even primary - source) and determining that The High Tower is mentioned in that very book, original research or the citing of a reliable, published source?! Does the source have to be third party, essentially?

I can't talk to The Long Goodbye, The High Window, Dead Again, or the 1961 episode of Naked City, but The High Tower does indeed feature very significantly in Michael Connelly's novel 'Echo Park', and absolutely not at all in 'The Closers', where the only tower referenced anywhere is the Eiffel Tower... I have both books on my Kindle so I am really quite confident of my facts!
