Hetaerius ferrugineus → Haeterius ferrugineus – Genus name misspelled, existing redirect precludes move. Dyanega (talk) 00:09, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- Support. Apparently the "Het..." spelling of the present title has a long usage history (Google ngrams); however, according to ITIS (reports 1 and 2) the proposed spelling is the valid one. This is also recognized on the taxonomy genus page, where Template:Taxonomy/Hetaerius redirects to the correct spelling. So it strongly appears that Haeterius is the correct spelling of the genus. See also Wikispecies and Wikipedia's genus article. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 01:06, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
