Giant CenterGIANT Center – Listed as GIANT Center on the hershey website, as GIANT is the sponsor of the arena. 45BearsFan (talk) 02:40, 29 May 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). BilledMammal (talk) 04:43, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@45BearsFan and Ayakanaa: Converting to move request; pinging editors involved at WP:RMTR. BilledMammal (talk) 04:43, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oppose per my previous comment. To my knowledge MOS:ALLCAPS applies because it's stylistic capitalization. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. ayakanaa ( t ) 06:16, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oppose – also see WP:TITLETM. And if I understand correctly, the center is named after The Giant Company, a.k.a. Giant-Carlisle, and Wikipedia does not use all-caps for the article about the company either. I suggest speedy closure of this discussion, since it is so clearly contrary to Wikipedia convention and doesn't have a WP:SNOWBALL's chance of being accepted. — BarrelProof (talk) 07:05, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oppose: See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Trademarks, where it says "When deciding how to format a trademark, editors should examine styles already in use by independent reliable sources. From among those, choose the style that most closely resembles standard English – regardless of the preference of the trademark owner." We've got this kind of question covered all over our Manual of Style, so yes to WP:SNOWBALLSchreiberBike | ⌨  12:12, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
