The comment about the actress who plays Pati being a prostitute is strange. Where did you get this information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.208.160.49 (talk) 04:22, 9 January 2008 (UTC) I agree, this looks like vandalism. I suggest it be reverted unless somebody has some proof. The only other edit from the same IP address (24.16.190.149) also appears to me to be vandalism. This sentence: "It also covers a variety of country-specific usages: for example, it uses both the verb extrañar (to miss somebody or something) and the phrase echar de menos (which means the same thing)." appears to be contrasting usage in some country or group of countries with usage elsewhere. Yet it doesn't mention which countries! I would guess the contrast is between words used in Spain and Latin America. The sentence seems to be missing its essence by simply listing two synonymous phrases and not explaining their particular significance.75.83.0.34 (talk) 20:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

My point was not about those two particular expressions: it was simply an example of how the series often presents different ways of saying the same thing. It is true that the former is largely used in Latin America and the latter in Spain, but that was not really germane to my point. (Besides, as I have advanced with Spanish, I've learned that the division between the Spanish of Spain and Latin America is not quite as clear-cut as I had believed.) I suppose I might not have given any examples at all, but I felt that an example helped make the point. Fool4jesus (talk) 17:15, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Fool4jesusReply
