editHello John B123, can you kindly let me know what needs to be done to overcome the maintenance templates at this article. It looks like the main problem was "Crunchbase" as a source. --Crosji (talk) 17:15, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Crosji, the problem is that it reads like a press release for the company not a neutral encyclopaedic article. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:21, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, I get your point John B123. It's difficult and requires a fine balance. But most articles about companies appear even more biased. Nevertheless, it's important to cover at least the top companies not only in bigger economies. Any tips how to improve this one or maybe any piece you can recommend for orientation? --Crosji (talk) 17:32, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- It needs to be written in plain English not publicist-speak, phrases like philanthropic efforts are in an array of social welfare activities make it sound like a press release. ..board of directors, as the principle decision-making body of the company... is stating the obvious, that's what boards of directors do (assuming it should read principal not principle), but again that's the sort of padding that appears in press releases. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 19:46, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you John B123, that's useful input. I will try to work on it. --Crosji (talk) 03:57, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
- I tried to follow your suggestion to have the language not sound publicist-speak John B123. Do you think this company profile is neutral and descriptive as it should be? --Crosji (talk) 09:28, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
