This list page currently stands out as the only page held directly in Category:List-Class articles. It is there because it currently has no WikiProjects assigned to it.

Potted history:

  • It was created as a disambiguation page, but included citations, as the various stated meanings do not have their own articles.
  • In 2012 JaGa removed the disambig template because "if this were a disambig, we would have to take out the references".
  • However, Katharineamy soon reinstated the disambig template, rather than leave it uncategorised.

In 2021 Shhhnotsoloud removed disambig again and put the page in Category:Principles.

Thinking aloud: the category is for things that are true in all times and places. This is a bit of a stretch, as some of the meanings given here are weaker than that. But then, the clue is in the name, they are claimed principles, even if not accepted.

I'm adding this talk page into WikiProject Disambiguation, as the only natural parent, but will not reinstate the disambig template on the article page. Wikipedia can permit a little inconsistency; the page is marginally worth keeping in case somebody looks up the phrase or links to it in an article. – Fayenatic London 16:15, 24 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
