The original version of the NYT obituary had put "Carusoto". However, yesterday they published the following correction:
"An earlier version misstated Mr. Anthony’s surname at birth. It was Caruso, not Carusoto. It also misstated how many times he performed the role of the Innkeeper in “Rosenkavalier.” It was 159, not 149."
