The article has been moved from Category:Defunct record labels to Category:Record labels disestablished in 2001. However, while the Caravan of Dreams closed in 2001, the record label ceased much earlier. Unfortunately, I can't provide an exact year, and even an approximation (e.g., no later than 1992) would be based on personal knowledge (i.e. original research). I can tell you that by the mid- to late-1990s, Caravan of Dreams albums such as Ornette Coleman's In All Languages along with several Ronald Shannon Jackson records had been re-issued by Verve and Knitting Factory, respectively. It is safe to say that the record label ended before, and not during, 2001. So, I will move this back to the more general category. -- Gyrofrog (talk)02:49, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Update
This source says the label operated for 5 years. The first recording was made in 1983, but released in 1985, so I'm not sure whether they meant 1988 or 1990. I went with 1990 and updated the article. -- Gyrofrog (talk)17:02, 7 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
