Errors in taxonomy?

edit

Is this species accurately placed at the family level? It is currently placed in Diapheromeridae, but I have been informed by a colleague/friend who has a high level of arthropod knowledge that it should actually be in family Phasmatidae. There seems to be confusion as to this from multiple sources. Here are some sources that would suggest that the taxonomy as listed is incorrect: UniProt - a protein sequencing site and - Phasmida Species File Online Wcbpolish (talk) 12:05, 8 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

too much focus on being kept as pets

edit

this article needs to talk about how they act in the wild. It says that the cultured stocks are all parthenogenetic females, but what about the original wild population in India? Does the species reproduce sexually in the wild? --86.149.67.159 (talk) 00:05, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why say so much about how to keep them? Where's the important facts like their weight? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.63.181 (talk) 20:04, 28 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Then improve it. Probably information about C. morosus in cultivation was easiest to find. - House of Scandal (talk) 06:21, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
