This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Hi, it has been a while since I have edited Wikipedia and I am not sure if I have the time to edit this page right now, but I think it needs to be edited. The case count table has not been updated since 7/30 and today is 8/11. I think that updating this page is extremely helpful to those seeking updated COVID-19 information. The chart on this page should be edited in a format similar to the chart on the https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/COVID-19_pandemic_in_Ohio page, which is updated daily.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Miquaz1 (talk • contribs) 18:31, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi and thanks for commenting here, glad others are looking at this. I have only been updating at most once per week, given that the updates are very tiresome and time-taking (and previous data changes all the time); there's also no easy way to do it beside looking at each date and typing in the number seen. I would be glad for some help, and can help you figure out how to do it too. I'll definitely ensure the data is correct and fully up-to-date when the pandemic is over, but until then I am also writing more important aspects of the city's history/culture that cannot be ignored much longer. ɱ(talk)18:41, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi. Thank you for the response. I am talking about the graph in the section you mentioned. I think it is an important graph that should be edited. And no, I do not have a conflict of interest. I just wanted to make an edit request because I don't have the time to edit the page right now. I apologize for using the wrong tag, what should I use next time? --Miquaz1 (talk) 15:03, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the reply! I'm declining the edit request, only because you don't have a COI, and due to the big backlog of COI edit requests (currently around 90 dating since mid-July), this would likely be left unanswered for ages. I'm going to post a note at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject COVID-19 asking editors help here. I'm also going to put a {{update}} template on that section to alert other editors to the fact it needs updating. Seagull123 Φ 20:55, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
