@Tag3pilots Hi there, i saw your recent edits to info box and the summary given was fixed results not entirely wrong but the article has a history of being vandalized. I have read the Reliable Book sources from both sides and the Statement of the result and territorial changes aren't accurate.

For the territorial changes the statement (Jammu and Kashmir remained in Indian hands) shouldn't be here, this is the territorial changes which resulted as the consequence of the battle not the war. The place Badgam eventually fell to the Raiders or Tribal lashkars after eliminating Indian troops. So instead (Badgam Falls to Tribals or Raiders) would be Accurate.

For the Result the sources of the Both sides state, at the Badgam battle the tribesmen had success in defeating the Indian troops and at the same time they state "they failed to press their success or did not exploit their success at Badgam battle". So this does not mean they were defeated by the Indian forces or the Indian forces gained victory.

Rather the Info box should look like:-

Result (Tribal success/Victory *Tribal advance halted) : Territorial changes (Badgam falls to Tribal forces)
