Dear Authors, this is a good, short article. However, it is missing some needed citations is specific cases. It is also lacking in a more detailed description of which plant groups have antheridia and which do not, specifically in angiosperms and gymnosperms. Specific exceptions to the rule that antheridia are reduced to a single generative cell in angiosperms should be noted and cited appropriately. Overall, a good, short article. Might want to briefly mention their difference from archegonia at the beginning to provide more context to the reader.Jlwatts98 (talk) 16:46, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
