Ideas for Edits

edit

This page is very blank and needs more detail. In saying that, I would like to add a section where it gives viewers a better idea of what the book is about. I would also like to look into the critiques of this book and even add more reviews. Aschr3 (talk) 21:52, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

– This is an effort to get consistent disambiguators for collections of poetry, as currently there's no consistency. WP:BOOKDAB recommends we "add the type of literary work in parentheses", but doesn't specifically mention collections of poetry. As such, my first instinct is to suggest moving these articles to "(poetry collection)". The current list is just a test case from Category:American poetry collections; I'll add something to BOOKDAB depending on our findings here. I excluded a few books that contain things besides poetry (Babel (book), Beginnings (collection), etc.) as well as those that need the author's name for further disambiguation (eg Poems in Prose (Smith), which distinguishes from Poems in Prose (Wilde)).
Other options may be using "(collection)", which is more concise but may not be recognizable enough, or simply "(book)", which may be insufficiently precise. At any rate, the articles would benefit from consistent disambiguation. Cúchullain t/c 18:38, 12 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
