Panchayath Jetty is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film written and directed by Manikandan Pattambi and Salim Hassan and is produced by Saptha Tharang Creations in assosiation with Govind Films.[3][4] Along with the regular cast of the television sitcom Marimayam which includes the director duo, Rachana Narayanankutty, Sneha Sreekumar and Vinod Kovoor, it also stars Salim Kumar, Kulappulli Leela and Pauly Valsan.[4][5]

Plot
editFrom the pictorial depictions of the teaser poster released on first day of July, the film seems to be set in a rural backwater place called "Kudungassery", where people protesting against panchayath authorities to find the body of a probably dead person named "Balan" being a plausible content in the plot. Vinod Kovoor is depicted as a police officer.[7]

Filming
editFilming for Panchayath Jetty started in December 2023, following a launch event in Kochi. Cherai has served as the backdrop for filming.[8][9]
