Obinna Oleribe is an American-Nigerian academic, author, medical doctor and Co-founder Best Health Consultant.[1]

Education

Oleribe holds a bachelor's degree in medicine and bachelor of surgery from University of Port Harcourt, a master's in business administration from University of Nicosia, a doctorate in Public Health at Walden University.[2]

Career

Oleribe began his career in the non-profit sector as an undergraduate at the University of Port Harcourt.[3] He started his medical practice at Abuja Clinic and Bethsaida Medical Center. He later became a Senior Medical Officer with the Federal Ministry of Defence.[4] Oleribe also served as the Resident Advisor in Epidemiology for the Tanzania Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Programme and worked as a Program Specialist and Network Coordinator for CDC Nigeria.[5]

In his career, he has led public health organizations in Nigeria, Tanzania, and the United States.[6] He is an assistant professor at California State University and has served as a consultant to BroadReach Consulting LLC in West Africa.[7] Oleribe is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London and was the chief executive officer of the Excellence and Friends Management Care Center (EFMC), Abuja.[8] He also held the position of Health General Manager for the Klamath Tribes in California, overseeing the planning, direction, and management of their health services operations.[9]
