MPBL Defensive Player of the Year award

The MPBL Defensive Player of the Year award is an annual Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League award given to the player with the best defensive performance in the regular season. It was first awarded during the 2018–19 MPBL season.
As of 2024, four players have won the award, with Mark Yee being the only recipient to have won the award more than once. Yee is also the only recipient who has also won Finals Most Valuable Player. The most recent recipient is Dawn Ochea.
