Non-free image use
editThis image is used in a quite a lot of articles, and fails WP:NFCC#1 and WP:NFCC#8 in the following articles:
- Paul Bunyan Trophy
- Old Brass Spittoon
- Land Grant Trophy
- Megaphone Trophy
- 2010 Michigan State Spartans football team
- 2010–11 Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team
- Big Bear Trophy
For these articles, WP:LOGO doesn't apply since the logo doesn't identify the article subjects. And they are easily replaceable with the alternate, text-only (and therefore free license) alternatives. And Michigan State's brand guidelines makes it clear the block S is an accepted representation of Michigan State. Please do not restore this image without at least explaining how the use meets WP:NFCC#8. We should probably take any further discussion to WP:NFR. Mosmof (talk) 02:13, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
