The ziggurat, once a popular tourist destination west of Baghdad, now sits dormant. Soldiers of the 16th Engineer Brigade Survey and Design Team traveled to the ancient ziggurat to assess and verify the electrical needs of renovating two modern structures at the base of the temple. |
