Object history
Deutsch: Die zwei Hirschstangen sind vom Wappen des Ortsadelsgeschlechts der Aiglsbacher hergeleitet, das mit der Erstnennung des Ortes um 1142/47 in Verbindung steht und sich im 14. Jahrhundert Aiglsbeck nannte. Als Wild- und Waldsymbol verweisen die Hirschstangen auch auf die Lage der Gemeinde am Dürrnbucher Forst. Die Hopfendolde bringt die besondere wirtschaftliche Bedeutung des Hopfenanbaus zum Ausdruck. Aiglsbach zählt zu den größten Hopfenanbaugemeinden in der Hallertau.
