English: This tomb in Nakhchivan area of Azerbaijan Republic incorporates the grave of the Prophet Noah. The place was considered sacred and the grave of the Noah Prophet since B.C. The existing stone grave structure under the tomb dates to around 5-6th century. Local people still come to this place to pray to the God and strongly believe that this is the place where the Prophet Noah was buried. People claim that the name of the place - Nakhchivan - also derives from the name of the Prophet Noah, which in Turkic language means the place where the Prophet Noah was landed after the floods. The location is close to two mountains considered as places hiding the remnants of the Noah's ship.
