English: Cuckoo catfish (Synodontis multipunctatus)
Español: Este pez gato es conocido por su habilidad para comerse los huevos de otros peces mientras hacen sus puestas. Lo más representativo de esta especie es que aprovecha a otros incubadores bucales para dejar sus huevos fecundados en la boca de otra hembra. De este modo, la madre de alquiler incuba a sus crías durante 3 semanas. Cuando los huevos eclosionan, las crías del synodontis no dudan en comerse a los otros alevines recién eclosionados, aún dentro de la boca de su madre postiza.
