Summary

Description
English: The Saptamukhi vav in Dabhoi was built in 1255AD by one Visaldeva. It is located adjacent to the Dabhoi talao. Saptamukhi, when literally translated means ' having seven heads', or entries in this case. It has been constructed in stone and has heavily carved with figures of deities. The ornamentation detail on this vav is similar to the Navlakhi vav, which is inside the Laxmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara city.
