Description: Defendant Oswald Pohl, Chief of the Main Economic and Administrative Dept. of the SS, and accused of three counts in the indictment charging them with war crimes in connection with operation of concentration camps, is shown delivering his final statement to the Tribunal before the case rested. Seventeen other officials of this organization [SS Wirtschafts-und Verwaltungshauptamt] (WVHA) also made statements in the main court at Nuernberg. Other accused shown in this picture include front row, left to right: August Frank, Heinz Fanslau, and Hans Loerner. Rear, same order, are Franz Eirenschmalz, Karl Sommer, and Hermann Pook.
