Description Pectocarya recurvata Arch-nutted Comb Bur. Buckeye Hills, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA. As in most Boraginaceae the fruit develops four nutlets. In this case the nutlets diverge on maturity and their margins are pectinate and barbed. The remnant of the style is visible at the base of the four nutlets.
