English: In 1883, a young Cyrus Dallin won a national competition for a monument honoring Paul Revere in the City of Boston. After persevering for 57 years and creating 7 different models, the 79-year-old sculptor witnessed the unveiling of his masterpiece in Boston's North End in 1940. Visitors to the Dallin Museum may view Dallin's sixth model (1930) alongside Cyrus Dallin's 5th model (1899).
