This specimen was created with the TrueType release of the Monaco font (version 7.0d1e1, 2013-04-24). The TrueType font was created by Kris Holmes and Charles Bigelow, based on Susan Kare's original bitmap designs. This specimen is an SVG remake based on a previous PNG specimen by Jim Hood (uploaded by GearedBull, released under CC BY-SA 2.5). It should be noted that Monaco does not have any italic or oblique forms; any slanted rendition of the glyphs are therefore faux-oblique are not part of the glyphs distributed with the font of this typeface. (This sample does not present any faux-oblique forms because of this.)
