Deutsch: "You press the button we do the rest": Am Konzept hatte sich wenig geändert. Vor über hundert Jahren wollte George Eastman mit der Kodak Nr.1 seinen Rollfilm an den Mann (bzw. an die Frau) bringen. 70 Jahre später verbreiteten die Instamatics das Kodapak-Filmformat über die ganze Welt.
Die meisten Kassetten-Kameras waren - dem angestrebten Käuferkreis ("Knipser") angepasst - einfachst ausgestattet. Diese Instamatic 33 hatte zwei Zeiten, 1/40 bzw. 1/80 Sekunde und ein einfaches Fixfokus-Objektiv, dazu Blitzwürfel-Anschluss. Immerhin sah sie - wie die meisten in Europa bzw. Deutschland hergestellten Instamatics - besser aus als die amerikanischen Originale, die eher Backsteinen oder Briketts ähnelten :-) Lustig: die zwischen 1968 und 1971 produzierte Instamatic 33 kostete 33 Mark. Bei den andern Modellen verzichtete man aber auf diesen Gag - bei der Instamatic 333 war der Preis 128,- DM.English: This Kodak Instamatic 33 camera had two shutter speeds, 1/40 and 1/80 of a second, a simple fixed focus lens, and a hot shoe for mounting a flash cube on top. |
