English: Inofficial U.S. Navy emblem of the so-called "Gonzo Station", in 1985. "Gonzo Station" was a U.S. Navy acronym for "Gulf of Oman Naval Zone of Operations". It was used to designate an area of carrier-based naval operations by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps in the Indian Ocean from 1979 up to the 1990-1991 Gulf War.
This emblem uses the "Gonzo" character of the "Muppets Show".
