The arms of Sir John Donne (died 1503), a Welsh courtier, diplomat and soldier, a notable figure of the Yorkist party, were Azure, a wolf rampant argent, as visible on the capitals of the columns in the Donne Triptych (c.1470) by Hans Memling in the National Gallery, London.
