English: Grave of James Graves in the churchyard of St. Canice's Cathedral in Kilkenny. It is probably the finest Celtic cross in the graveyard. James Graves was a reverend and co-founder of the original Kilkenny Archaeological Society. The inscription which is very faint, but was transcribed by members of the Kilkenny Archaeological Society decades ago, reads "In loving memory of the Ref. James Graves A.B. Rector of Inisnag A.D. 1863-1886. Born 11 October 1816 Died 20th March 1886. His widow has placed this cross."
