English: These are my own designs using MS Paint 2015 Photoshop 2018 and Lunapic Background editor. It is an illustration of the command flag of a Commodore Ordinary Red Squadron (Royal Navy) introduced in 1805. It is based upon the descriptions given in the book British flags, their early history, and their development at sea; with an account of the origin of the flag as a national device by Perrin, W. G. (William Gordon), 1874-1931 published in 1922, Chapter IV Flags of Command pp. 73-109. In use from 1625 to 1864 in the Kingdom of England, Great Britain and United Kingdom. In use from 1805 to 1826.
