Description The Fiber-Optic Link Around the Globe (FLAG) is a network built in the 1990s, consisting of fiber cables connecting America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The company founded for it in 1999 filed for bankruptcy in 2001 and at the end of 2003 was acquired by the Reliance Communications Group of India. This is the logo in 2003.
